I dig the vibe of Shauna's music anyhow, so I banged out this 'answer song'. I just set up a very cheap PC microphone, grabbed my 12-string acoustic, made a drum part in Fruity Loops and popped on an extra vocal track. Don't remember much about it because I just whipped it all up pretty quickly...like in a half an hour, so there's no good studio story. I did sing the vocal sitting in a chair with my head under a desk, though, for some reason.

Solid Rock Song Thrusts It's Way to Status Quo Now this is a rock song. First of all, the production of this track was excellent, for the lows were balanced with the highs and every element of the band came through loud and clear without being overbearing. I mean damn, those drums sound excellent and the vocals cut through with a crisp urgency without killing the rest of the track. Production comes first in terms of impressing people, for if the track sounds clean and crisp, then it is much easier to give the band a chance and listen to the talent behind the music. That being said, you guys are good song writers as well. ...you guys write excellent music that fits right in with modern rock. Well, at least the modern rock that is good anyway. The chorus is excellent, for the vocal melody sound great, the hook of the song does its job without being tacky, and the melody of the tune carries the whole song straight through without any noticable blemishes.
