Their percussionist was a master at the tabla and very knowledgeable about the music of India. This was also at a time when I was reading an interesting book on Philosophy called Bridges.

This song was a bunch of riffs that J wrote on his cousins bass, and his dads acoustic guitar... The riffs sat in his head for a good year or two, and then when him and Matt went to Myrtle Beach on vacation, J came back with this tune. The lyrics reference stress and the need for a vacation, and girl bullshit too, but the overall theme is don't give up the fight for a comfortable and peaceful existence.
