If you have mp3's on your personal site, here is how to make your song STREAMING ONLY.

How to make your mp3 files STREAMING ONLY

DISABLE the download by creating an *.m3u file and inserting your actual link to your mp3 file inside of it. An *.m3u file is simply a text file holding the URL of your mp3 file, so that it remains hidden from people, and so that no download takes place--only streaming.

For example, if your mp3 file is at http://www.YOURSITE.com/YOUR-GREAT-SONG.mp3 then open a text editor file (like notepad), and type that exact URL (with http://...) into the file, and SAVE AS YOUR-GREAT-SONG.m3u into your directory. (not as *.txt). Replace ALL your mp3 links with .m3u links, and you're all set. Now you can begin to charge for your downloads, by joining a service (like ours, or yours if you know how to program) which can charge a credit card before allowing the download of the *.mp3.
