Most of the hard work done was in designing the advanced search code (which took months), to intelligently search over 2 million files across the Internet and automatically detect which files are classical, and by which composer. Further work was done by hand in organizing the search results here by music type and instrumentation, to create a valuable time-saving reference source worth paying for. All of this was designed by the site founder, Art Sulit, an accomplished artist and composer in his own right.
In the near future we will be allowing artists to post their MIDI files here as well as
recordings in wma, ra and mp3 formats. We will be setting up e-commerce tools to help
artists sell their works here, in an effort to help classical artists gain exposure
and get compensated for their work.
